Fall Pick and Paint Watercolor Workshop

with Jordyn McNamara and Jade Moret

Come and enjoy a fun, creative and social afternoon at Holland Flower Farm!

Pick & Paint Workshop is an opportunity to pick your own pumpkin from Jade’s family farm and learn how to watercolor paint your picked pumpkin with Jordyn. This workshop is for those who are looking to spend an afternoon experiencing the joy of fall harvest and gain beginner level watercolors skills and knowledge. Pick & Paint is not a paint-by-number class, but instead offers individuals the guidances and step-by-step demonstration of watercolor techniques and painting essentials. This class is open to all levels to make everyone feel welcomed and encouraged to try something new.

About the Workshop

Duration: 2-2.5 hours

Location: Holland Flower Farm (3998 Indian Ave, Sioux Center, IA)

Date: October 16, 2021

Time: 3:00 PM

Host: Jade Moret / Teacher: Jordyn McNamara

Materials: All your supply will be provided including the pumpkin of our choosing, paints, brushes, paper and a learning booklet.

Cost: $50/person

Class size is limited and payment is needed to reserve your spot. We take all major credit cards via our secure website or Venmo at Jordyn-McNamara.

Ticket Sales may end up to 3 hours prior to the time of the event. If for any reason there is a cancellation you will receive a full refund.

Here's what we have in store for you:

1. Tour Jade’s Family Farm and pick your own pumpkin.

2. Learn the basics of watercolor techniques and paint the pumpkin you picked.

3. Receive a take home a watercolor booklet to further your practice and knowledge.

4. Sip on complimentary drink and snacks while you paint.

To cancel a registration and receive a refund, notify us at least 2 days before the start of the class. We will refund your payment less a $10 cancellation fee or reservation may be transferred to a future event. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 5 days of the start of the class.

In the event this Watercolor workshop is cancelled for any reason, fees will be refunded 100% or reservation may transferred to a future event, at the discretion of reserved patron.

About the Artist, Jordyn

Jordyn is a watercolor artist and designer based out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I've been painting and drawing since I can remember and my love for watercolor really began post-grad. I've worked with all the paint mediums, but I really fell in love with the blending and fluidity of watercolor. I began teaching watercolor workshops to share my love for this art. My online retail shop and social media accounts are where my watercolor paintings come to life through products and clientele work.

I started my business about a two year ago turning my original paintings in cards and designing wedding invitations for friends and family. Now, I share a range of products from stationery to home goods. Most days you'll find me painting or out adventuring with my husband.
