Custom Wedding Stationery

From the first time your guests open your wedding invitations, they get a small glimpse of what your wedding day will be like. Let’s get you that last impression that reflects the unique personality, feel, and mood of your wedding! When you decide to work with me, every step of the way is considered and carefully crafted to get you your very own custom and personalized design.

Process

To begin, you'll start by filling out the short custom inquiry form here. While I absolutely love hearing all about your wedding details, this also gives me more details about you and ideas for the initial design process. Since your stationery will be custom designed specifically for you, your input is very important. If you have inspirational pictures or Pinterest boards you'd like to show, please share! Email is an easy and convenient way to communicate during the design process but if you'd like to set up a time to chat over the phone or exchange numbers, we can certainly do too!

From here on out, we can talk timeline, and begin working on ideas based on your preferences. After you receive these digital proofs via email, let me know of any changes you'd like to see made to make sure it’s just right.

Once we finalize your designs for the stationery, they will be printed. Please note that once you approve the final proofs and we go to print, no other changes can be made. If you've chosen to adorn your suite with special additions like wax seals, string, vellum, etc, those will come assembled beforehand. Everything will then be carefully packaged and shipped directly to you, along with your envelopes.

Customize

First, you'll need to decide what items you want to include in your suite - invitations, envelopes, detail and/or rsvp card, etc. Think about whether or not you want to add design details as well such as wax seals, vellum, twine, ribbon, etc.

Typically I offer three different types of paper: cardstock (white finish with clean straight edges), linen (textured finish with soft eggshell finish), and watercolor/handmade (felt textured finish with rough/uneven edges). However, I am more than willing to source any other kinds of paper for your suite as well.

If any other customization options interests you please let me know!

Investment

If you place importance on having your wedding stationery unlike anyone else's and see the beauty in thoughtfully crafted stationery, you have come to the right place!

Each custom suite is all about you. I’ll incorporate elements that are meaningful to you and your partner that involves playing with design, watercolor painting, and hand-lettering. However, even though all extra additions are custom quoted based on quantity and materials used, you are adding details that can change your suite from looking plain to totally original.

The overall cost of your stationery suite can be paid in full upfront or split into two payments. The first is after the initial price quote is given and we agree upon all products and services included in your order. This will act as a deposit and hold your place on my calendar. The second and last payment will be after the final proof is approved and just after printing takes place. Shipping charges will be included in this last payment.

*Note

Full wedding stationery packages (everything from save the dates to custom calligraphy table cards) prices can range greatly, depending on your choice of quantity and print method.

Additional Info

I highly recommend ordering 10-15 extra invitations/suites. This is useful when there are last-minute additions to your guest list or if you choose to save some as a keepsake. Please allow at least three weeks for your custom order to be completed. I will give you a more accurate timeline once we discuss what will be involved. If you need your stationery sooner than three weeks, I will do my best to accommodate but rush fees will apply. Keep in mind, typically invitations are sent to your guests at least 6 weeks but up to 3 months prior to your wedding.

If you would like your custom invitation suite done in watercolor, your design will be painted, scanned, and then printed with toner printing, which allows for digital printing of the highest quality.

In addition to invitation suites, I also offer custom day-of stationery such as programs or orders of service, place cards, menus, and table numbers.
